Abstract

Un non-tissé de fibres discontinues composé d'une carde, ou d'autres non-tissés composés de filaments, présentent une rigidité plus importante dans le sens longitudinal que dans le sens transversal en raison des longueurs de fibres orientées longitudinalement après l'aiguilletage, l'aiguilletage hydrodynamique par ex. Ce fait peut être modifié lorsque le non-tissé pré-renforcé est soumis à une réorientation des fibres, par ex. lors d'un traitement d'étirage latéral au cours duquel les fibres entrelacées dans le non-tissé sont au moins partiellement réorientées, par ex. dans le sens transversal.
