Abstract

Lampe plane (1) comprenant au moins deux substrats verriers (2, 3) maintenus parallèles entre eux délimitant un espace interne (10) rempli de gaz, comprenant deux éléctrodes (4, 5) associés aux substrats verriers et en dehors de l'espace interne (10), dans laquelle la face interne (22, 32) d'au moins un substrat (2, 3) tournée vers ledit espace interne (10) est revêtue d'un matériau luminophore (6, 7), caractérisée en ce qu' au moins une des électrodes (4, 5) est recouverte d'au moins un isolant électrique (2, 3; 14, 16; 15, 17), de préférence transparent, qui peut être constitué par au moins un des substrats verriers (2, 3) ou être associé à au moins un des substrats verriers (2, 3).
