L'invention concerne un dormant, qui comprend une traverse haute (3) de dormant, un appui (5) de fenêtre, et un rideau (7) qui peut s'étendre entre la traverse haute (3) de dormant et l'appui (5) de fenêtre, sur le côté intérieur du cadre, moyennant quoi le rideau (7) se déplace entre une position dans laquelle il recouvre sensiblement la fenêtre, et une position dans laquelle il découvre sensiblement la fenêtre. En position ouverte, le rideau est sensiblement logé à l'intérieur du dormant.
