Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément de construction destiné à être utilisé pour construire une paroi de bâtiment. Cet élément de construction comprend au moins un élément profilé en métal ou en matière plastique, ainsi qu'une isolation thermique et/ou acoustique disposée dans cet élément profilé. Cette isolation se compose d'éléments isolants présentant deux grandes surfaces parallèles espacées reliées par des surfaces latérales s'étendant sensiblement perpendiculairement les unes par rapport aux autres et par rapport aux grandes surfaces. L'objectif de l'invention est d'améliorer cet élément de construction de sorte que la stabilité dimensionnelle et par là même l'efficacité de l'isolant permettent d'obtenir un élément de construction amélioré présentant peu de ponts thermiques, les éléments individuels de l'élément de construction pouvant néanmoins être produits à moindre coût. A cet effet, l'isolation thermique et/ou acoustique (4) disposée dans chaque élément profilé (3) comprend au moins deux éléments isolants (8, 12) reliés l'un à l'autre, un premier élément isolant (8) étant calé dans l'élément profilé (3), de préférence de telle sorte qu'il remplisse sensiblement complètement ledit élément profilé, et un deuxième élément isolant (12) étant placé sur l'une des grandes surfaces (13) du premier élément isolant (8).
