It is also possible to carry out the invention by using gripping heads whose actuator is worn by the gripping head itself. In this regard, however, it should be noted that the device according to the preferred embodiment of the invention allows operation without using a friction contact, which constitutes an appreciable advantage as regards the operating reliability of the device.
