Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant l'arrêt d'urgence d'un ascenseur. Ce dispositif comprend une unité d'arrêt d'urgence en descente permettant d'arrêter rapidement et efficacement la descente en survitesse de l'ascenseur sans régulateur de vitesse additionnel pourvu d'un câble afin d'empêcher la descente de l'ascenseur lorsqu'il dysfonctionne. En variante, le dispositif d'arrêt d'urgence de l'ascenseur comprend à la fois une unité d'arrêt d'urgence en descente et une unité d'arrêt d'urgence en montée de telle manière que la montée en survitesse de l'ascenseur tout comme la descente en survitesse de l'ascenseur soient arrêtées, ce qui améliore la sûreté de l'ascenseur et la protection des passagers et marchandises transportés dans l'ascenseur contre tout danger.
