Abstract

Die Erfindung beschreibt ein passivmatrixgetriebenes Display mit strukturierten Bildpunkten und strukturierter zweiter Elektrode auf der Basis elektrolumineszierender Polymere mit folgenden Merkmalen: funktionelle Polymerschichten (12 und 14), die eine erste Elektrode (1) kontaktieren, werden von den Fenstern einer isolierenden Fensterschicht (5) eingegrenzt, mindestens eine weitere isolierende streifenförmige Schicht (15 und 20 im Falle von zwei Schichten), die sich zwischen den Fenstern der ersten isolierenden Schicht (5) befindet, ist als Stege quer zu den ersten Elektrodenstreifen angeordnet, eine zweite Elektrode (2), die die funktionellen Schichten kontaktiert, ist durch die Stege strukturiert und verläuft quer zu den ersten Elektrodenstreifen zwischen den Stegen.
