Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé de préparation d'alcools benzyliques représentés par la formule générale (I) (où R1 représente alkyle fluoré et/ou chloré), ce procédé se caractérisant par la mise en réaction d'un chlorure d'aryle représenté par la formule générale (II), avec du magnésium en présence d'un haloalcane inférieur, en vue de produire un réactif Grignard représenté par la formule générale (III), et, ensuite, par la mise en réaction de ce réactif Grignard avec du formaldéhyde et/ou un polymère de celui-ci.
