Abstract

L'invention porte sur une fibre de section non circulaire excellente pour l'absorption et l'évaporation de la sueur consistant en monofilaments thermoplastiques dont la section présente six protubérances sphériques symétriques de différentes tailles et en forme d'haltère et satisfaisant à la formule: 1,0 ≤ longueur L2 du petit axe de la fibre / largeur D1 du petit axe de la fibre ≤ 4,0. Lesdites protubérances servent de passages à la migration de la sueur (par capillarité) et la transfèrent rapidement du corps vers l'extérieur. De plus, ladite fibre présente une surface étendue facilitant l'évaporation de la sueur. En outre, la fibre du fait de sa faible surface de contact avec le corps procure une agréable sensation de bien être au porteur. Une telle fibre s'utilise principalement pour les fils de tissage de vêtements tels que des vestes.
