Abstract
L"invention concerne un four de fusion de gazéification (2) qui comprend une torche à plasma (11) servant à souffler de l"air chaud dans une couche de fuel d"appoint formée au niveau d"une partie de sole du four (22) sous une pression positive d"au plus 5 kPa en moyenne. Un rebut combustible et/ou de la cendre brûlée et du fuel d"appoint sont alimentés dans le four de fusion de gazéification (four à cuve) (2). Le résidu produit par la décomposition thermique du rebut combustible et/ou de la cendre brûlée dans une atmosphère contenant de l"air pour une quantité égale ou inférieure à la quantité stoechiométrique pour le rebut combustible et/ou la cendre brûlée et le fuel d"appoint est déchargé sous forme de scories fondues par un orifice de déchargement de résidus (23).
