Abstract

Mit der Wasservernadelung wird stets vollflächig eine Breite einer Warenbahn mit Wasserstrahlen beaufschlagt. Es ist aber auch vorteilhaft, wenn stückförmige Gebrauchsgüter verfestigt und evtl. sogar nur um diese Güter herum das sie tragende Abdeckvlies verfestigt oder mit einem Deckvlies nur um diese Güter herum verbunden werden soll. Dazu sind alle möglichen Muster, wie Linien- und Streifenverfestigungen vorteilhaft. Um dies zu ermöglichen, sieht die Erfindung Maßnahmen vor, um gezielt den Strom der Wasserstrahlen aus einem Wasserbalken zu steuern wie teilweise zu verhindern und/oder zu unterbrechen. Dies kann möglich sein durch mit der Bahn vorlaufende Abdeckbleche, die von einem Sieb gehalten sind oder durch ein Sieb allein. Auch sind einzeln bewegbare und über Computer ansteuerbare Düsen zur partiellen Verfestigung vorteilhaft.
