Definitions

  • the invention relates to a godet unit for guiding and conveying a thread according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device for stretching a thread.
  • a generic godet unit and a device for stretching a thread is known for example from DE 199 09 073 AI.
  • the known godet unit consists of a driven godet and a rotatable roller assigned to the godet at a distance. At least one thread is guided on the circumference of the godet and on the circumference of the roll with several loops.
  • Such godets are preferably used in spinning plants or textile machines in order to guide and demand a synthetic thread for stretching. In order to generate the highest possible stretching forces, one or more threads running in parallel next to each other with several wraps are guided on the godet and the roll.
  • the roller preferably does not have its own drive, so that the roller is driven by the thread friction. Due to the high thread speeds of up to 10,000 m / min, which occur particularly in high-speed processes, the high speeds of the godet unit and the thread tension acting on the godet unit cause considerable bearing loads, which special bearings, for example made of ceramic, require.
  • Another problem with the known godet unit is that the thread guide on the godet and the roller causes an uneven distribution of the load on the godet and on the roller, which represents an additional bearing load for both the roller bearing and the godet bearing.
  • Another disadvantage of the known device for stretching a thread or several threads lies in the arrangement of the godet units with respect to one another, which, particularly when stretching in several stages, requires an overall height which is often not achievable in the systems, since the godet units must be arranged in a plurality of stretching fields lying one behind the other , The arrangement of the godet units that is required to draw a thread or several threads guided in parallel is referred to as a stretching field.
