Definitions

  • the invention relates to a telemetry module.
  • Telemetry modules make it possible to receive control commands, in particular sent by radio, from a remote command point and to implement them in corresponding control processes for electrical devices connected to the telemetry module. Telemetry modules can also be used as detectors, with which status, alarm or monitoring messages relating to electrical devices connected to the telemetry module can be transmitted to a remote receiver, in particular by radio.
  • Telemetry modules can be particularly useful in everyday life. For example, it can be important to find out immediately when on vacation or traveling when electrical devices in your home fail or the alarm system goes off. Likewise, a traveler may wish to remotely activate electrical devices in his home, for example to find a warm home, a preheated sauna or fresh coffee when he returns.
  • the object of the invention according to the first approach is to provide a telemetry module that is also suitable for everyday use.

Basically, it can communicate with any other subscriber in the communication network, for example mobile stations or internet subscribers (via an internet bridge).
