本発明は、 爪のかさつきを抑え、 潤いを保ち、 さらには光沢感を出すために好 適に使用される爪用化粧料に関し、 詳しくは、 爪を保護し、 爪の健全化を保ちあ るいは改善する作用に優れた爪用化粧料に関する。 背景技術
爪は、 手足の指の背面の表皮から生じた角質の薄い板で、 爪の存在は日常生活 において欠かせないものである。 爪があることで、 指先でものをつかむことがで き、 細かな作業を行うことができる。 一方では、 爪は手の中で目立つ部分であり、 美容における重要なポイントとして捉えられている。 近代においては、 爪はト一 タルビューティーの一部として捉えられ、 爪専門のサロンも登場し、 爪に関する 関心は年々高まってきている。
このため、 今日では、 多くの種類の爪用化粧品が販売されており、 多くの女性 はこれを使用している。 しかし、 爪用化粧品 （マニキュア製品等） やその除光液 を反復利用すると、 日増しに爪がかさつき、 脆くなり、 光沢感を失う。 このため 爪に潤いを与え、 保護し、 健全に保っための爪用化粧料の開発が望まれており、 現在では爪に水分を補うものとして、 コラーゲン、 アミノ酸、 ケラチン等の保湿 成分が配合されたものが主流となっている。
しかしながら、 これら保湿成分は被膜形成能がないため、 除光液によって失わ れた水分に対する保湿効果は弱く、 爪のかさつきやひび割れ等の改善がなされな レ、。 また、 水分補給として油分の多いクリームタイプのものを使用すると、 塗布 した後の乾きが遅く、 非常にべたべた感があり、 さらには何か他の物に触れたと きに油分が他の物に付着し汚してしまう等の問題が数多く生じ、 改善が望まれて いる。 発明の開示
本発明は、 爪のかさつきを抑え、 爪を割れにくく し、 また爪本来の光沢感を与 え、 爪の健全化を保ちあるいは改善しうる、 安全性の高い爪用化粧料を提供する ことを課題とする。
本発明者らは、 上記課題を解決すべく鋭意検討を重ねた結果、 セリシンを含有 させた化粧料が、 爪のかさつきを抑え、 適度な光沢感を与え、 爪の健全化を保ち あるいは改善する効果に非常に優れることを見出し、 本発明を完成するに至った。 すなわち、 本発明は、 有効成分としてセリシンを含有することを特徴とする爪 用化粧料に関する。
また、 本発明は、 前記セリ シンが、 前記化粧料全量に対し 0 . 0 2〜2 0重量 %含有されていることを特徴とする前記爪用化粧料に関する。
以下、 本発明を詳細に説明する。
本発明の化粧料は、 有効成分としてセリシンを含有することを特徴とする。 セリ シンは、 絹から抽出して得られる天然蛋白質であり、 吸湿性、 吸水性、 被 膜性に優れていることが知られているが、 本発明のような爪用化粧料に用いられ た例はなく、 セリシンを配合した爪用化粧料が爪の保湿機能を高める作用をし、 さらには光沢感を得るのにも極めて有用であるという顕著な効果を示すことは予 想外のことである。 蛋白質としてコラーゲンやケラチン等のセリシン以外のもの のみを使用した場合は、 皮膜性が弱く、 爪の保湿、 保護効果が得られないという 欠点が生じる。
本発明に用いられるセリシンは、 いかなる方法で得られたものであってもよい 力 化学精練法又は酵素精練法により絹繊維に含まれるセリシンを部分加水分解 して溶出させた後、 薬剤により析出法等の方法により得たものが好ましく、 セリ ンを 2 0〜4 0 %含有するものが特に好ましい。
セリ シンは、 通常粉末状であるが、 易水溶性であり、 水溶液として安定な性状 を維持することができる。 また、 通常の化粧料成分との混和性に優れ、 しかも皮 膚の副作用の懸念がなく安全性に優れているので、 通常の化粧料成分、 例えば各 種の界面活性物質、 乳化作用成分、 安定化剤、 有機酸類、 油脂類、 アルコール類、 ビタミン類、 防腐剤、 香料等の配合剤と適宜組み合わせて使用することができる 本発明の爪用化粧料は、 上述したセリシンを有効成分と して含有するものであ る。 本発明でいう爪用化粧料は、 液状製剤としても、 また貼付型シート製剤とし てもよレヽ。 液状製剤としては、 ネイルエナメル、 ネイルベースコー ト、 ネイノレト リ一トメント、 リ ムーバー、 ネイルローショ ン、 ネイルク リーム等が挙げられる。 貼付型シート製剤としては、 ネイルケアシートパック、 ネイルトリートメントシ ートパック等が挙げられる。
前記爪用化粧料におけるセリシンの配合量は、 該化粧料全量に対し好ましくは 0 . 0 2〜 2 0重量％、 より好ましくは 0 . 0 5〜： 1 0重量％である。 0 . 0 2 重量％未満では爪への保護効果が弱く、 2 0重量％を超えると実際に爪の保護に 作用しないセリシンが多くなり不経済となる。
本発明の爪用化粧料には、 必須成分である上記セリ シン以外に、 通常の化粧料 に用いられる各種配合成分を任意に含有させることができる。 このような任意成 分と しては、 例えば、 ワセリンやスクヮラン等の炭化水素類； メチルパラベン、 プロピルパラベン、 ブチルパラベン等の防腐剤、 ホホバ油、 ヒマシ油、 オリ一ブ 油等の油類； ステアリン酸、 ォレイン酸等の脂肪酸類；セタノール、 ォレイルァ ルコール等の高級アルコール類； ポリォキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、 ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油等の非イオン界面活性剤、 ァニオン界面活性剤、 カチオン界面活性剤、 両性界面活性剤等の各種界面活性物質； プロピレングリコ ール、 1 , 3—ブチレングリ コール、 ジプロピレングリ コール、 ポリエチレング リ コール等のグリ コール類、 グリセリン等の多価アルコール類 ； ポリオキシェチ レンイソセチルエーテル等のエーテル類 ； カルボキシビ二ルポリマー、 ポリアク リル酸、 ポリアクリル酸ナトリ ウム、 カルメロースナトリ ウム、 ポリ ビュルアル コール、 ポリ ビニルピロリ ドン等の水溶性高分子化合物 ； ヒアルロン酸、 キトサ ン等の多糖類、 D—グルコース、 D—フルク トース等の糖類； その他エタノール、 乳化作用成分、 安定化剤、 紫外線吸収剤、 抗酸化剤、 各種ビタミン類、 薬効成分、 香料類、 着色剤、 粉体類等が挙げられる。 また、 コラーゲン、 エラスチン、 ケラ チン等の前記セリシン以外の蛋白質を本発明のセリシンと併用することもできる c これら各種配合剤の添加量はそれぞれの製品の種類に応じ、 適宜決定すること ができる。 また、 これらは常法に従って化粧料へと剤形化することができる。 発明を実施するための最良の形態
以下に、 本発明を実施例により更に具体的に説明するが、 本発明はこれらに限 定されるものではない。 なお、 本実施例及び比較例における配合量の値はすべて 重量％である。

普段マニキュア製品、 除光液等を使用し、 爪のかさつき、 ひび割れ、 つやのな さ等を日常訴えている女性パネラー 3 0名を対象として官能テストを行った。 す なわち、 被験者 （女性パネラー） は、 爪にマニキュアを施し、 次いでそれを除光 液で落とした後、 上記 （実施例 1 ) 及び （比較例 1 ) のネイルトリー トメントを 塗布した。 また、 上記 （実施例 2 ) 及び （比較例 2 ) については、 1時間貼付し た後、 剥離した。 これを 1ヶ月間続けて爪の状態を観察し、 その結果を各評価項 目 （①爪のかさつき感、 ②爪のひび割れ、 ③爪のつや） について以下に示す基準 で評価した。 評価結果を表 5に示す。 表 5中の数値は所定の評価をつけた人数を 表す

本発明の爪用化粧料の必須成分であるセリ シンは、 爪の保護作用に優れ、 爪の かさつきを抑え、 爪を割れにくく し、 爪本来の光沢感をもたらす効果があり、 マ ニキユア製品や除光液等により痛んだ爪に顕著な改善効果をもたらす。 さらに、 マニキュア製品等の下地としても有効である。 また、 天然絹を原料としており安 全性にも優れ、 他の爪化粧料には見られない効果を示すものである。 このように, セリシンを有効成分として配合した本発明の爪用化粧料は、 爪の健全化を保ち、 あるいは改善することができる。

4. 任意成分と して、 多価アルコール類、 エーテル類、 油類、 及び水溶性高 分子化合物からなる群から選択される成分が含有されていることを特徴とする、 請求項 1〜 3のいずれかに記載の爪用化粧料。
5. 前記化粧料が、 液状製剤であることを特徴とする、 請求項 1〜4のいず れかに記載の爪用化粧料。
6. 前記化粧料が、 貼付型シー ト製剤であることを特徴とする、 請求項 1〜 4のいずれかに記載の爪用化粧料。
7. 前記セリ シンが、 前記化粧料全量に対し 0. 0 2〜4重量。 /。含有されて いることを特徴とする、 請求項 1〜 6のいずれかに記載の爪用化粧料。

^正された用紙 (条約第 IS条) 条約第 1 9条 （ 1 ) に基づく説明書 請求の範囲第 7項は、 本発明の爪用化粧料における最適なセリシン含有量をよ り明確にしたものである。
引用例のうち、 「JP， 11-228344, AJ には、 泥を主成分とする顔面用化粧料が記 載されているが、 爪用化粧料については記載されていない。 顔面等の皮膚は、 軟 ケラチンから構成されており、 その表皮では皮脂と汗が混ざり合って皮脂膜を形 成し皮膚を覆っている。 一方、 爪は、 皮膚と異なり、 硬ケラチンから構成されて おり、 この構造から爪は固い光沢のある形状を保っている。 本発明は、 セリシン が硬ケラチンからなる爪に対し保湿機能だけでなく被膜形成能をも有することに より、 ①爪の乾燥を防ぐ、 ②光沢のある美しい外観を保つことができる、 ③徐放 性により効果を長時間持続させることができる、 といった利点を有する。 セリシ ンの皮膜形成能は、 皮膚に対しては、 逆に肌にべとべと感を与えたり使用感を悪 く したりすることが予測される。 このように、 セリシンの効果は、 皮膚に対する ものと爪に対するものとで、 本質的に全く異なる。 よって、 泥を主成分とする顔 面用化粧料にセリシンが使用されていたとしても、 それを爪用に用いることは、 この引用例からは容易に想到し得ない。 ましてや、 0 . 0 2〜4重量％のセリシ ンを含む化粧料については引用例に記載されておらず、 爪用として最適なセリシ ン含有量を予測することはできない。
引用例のうち、 「JP, 10-120528， A」 には、 手袋状のハンドパックに関する発明 が記載されているが、 セリシンの具体的な配合割合については全く記載されてい ない。 手袋状のハンドパックは、 爪への密着性がなく接触面積も小さいため、 セ リシンの被膜形成能により爪を保護し、 光沢のある美しい外観を与える効果は全 く期待できない。 よって、 この引用例から爪に直接被膜を形成させる爪用化粧料 にセリシンを用いることは容易に想到されない。 また、 最適のセリシン含量を予 測することもできなレ、。
