- Actuators of this type can have two opposing return springs (US patent 4,614,170 or patent application FR 98 12489) or a single spring working alternately in tension and compression (patent application FR 98 11670). They can have a single coil (patent applications FR 98 12489 and 99 04472) or two coils.
