Ainsi la demande de brevet français FR 2 729 696 enseigne une piscine pour hydrothérapie dans laquelle le bac est formé par une enceinte monobloc en béton. Le poids d'un tel bac est considérable, ce qui crée de grandes difficultés lorsqu'il est envisagé de placer la piscine dans un immeuble. La réalisation du bac sur le site est de plus soumise à toutes les contraintes liées à l'emploi du béton. Par ailleurs, un tel bac n'est pas démontable.
