<EMI ID=2.1>
part, et No. 808.065 d'autre part.

The invention relates to new improvements
<EMI ID = 2.1>
on the one hand, and No. 808.065 on the other hand.
Dama these patents are described load-bearing facade elements which include in particular either two columns,
a lintel uniting the tops of these columns and a skirt which <EMI ID = 3.1> either forms one unit with the lintel, or else joins the lower part of the columns. The bearing element according to these patents may also have only a single column supporting a lintel which extends freely on either side of this column and a skirt which either forms one unit with the lintel or is extends on either side of the base of the single column.
When laying elements belonging to a certain level, the elements of the lower or upper level were partially covered by the upper or lower part of the elements of an adjacent level.
The glazing, which was placed in the factory, was immobilized between a hollow made in the lower part of the lintel and a groove made in the upper part of the skirt.
The element according to patent No. 808.065 caused some difficulties in sealing the connection to be established between the beam or lower cross member and the skirt belonging to
to the facade element of the lower level.
The object of the invention is therefore to produce an improved element which takes up all the advantages of the elements according to the prior patents cited above and which does not present any problem in terms of establishing a tight seal between these parts of the elements.
To this end, the facade element, according to a first embodiment of the invention, comprises at least one column and a lintel which either extends on either side of this column, or connects the two columns, said lintel having at the lower part a groove allowing the upper edge of a glazing to be accommodated therein, while this lintel is raised towards
the top to form a spandrel, the upper part of which has a groove allowing the lower edge of a glazing belonging to a higher level to be accommodated therein.
In another embodiment, the facade element comprises at least one column and a lintel which either extends on either side of this column or connects the two columns, said lintel having a groove in its part. lower to accommodate the upper edge of a window,
a spandrel being secured to the base of the column (s), a spandrel which receives at its upper part the lower edge of the glazing fitted to the element and which covers by its lower part the lintel of an element belonging to a lower level.
A detail of the invention lies in the fact that the outer face of the column has an edge forming a frame intended for fixing the vertical side edges of the glazing.
Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which will be given below of a bearing facade element, according to the invention. This description is given only by way of non-limiting example with reference to the accompanying figures.
FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a first embodiment of a bearing facade element, according to the invention. FIG. 2 shows in vertical section the facade element bearing according to FIG. 1 and the upper part of a second facade element belonging to a lower level, associated with the first. FIG. 3 is an elevational view of another embodiment of a facade element according to the invention. FIG. 4 is a view in vertical section of the facade element according to FIG. 3 and the upper part of a second facade element belonging to a lower level, associated with the first.

this sealing is ensured at the horizontal joints made between the lower and upper edges of the glazing and
the upper part of a spandrel and the lower edge of a lintel belonging to two different levels. No other joint remains in the various horizontal planes between the concrete surfaces belonging to the facade elements according to the invention. The vertical joints between the adjacent glazing elements can pull joined together by so-called "profile".
