- Each element 46 has a thickness e less than the thickness f of the plastic wall of the seal 30 in anticipation of the crushing thereof when the seal is tightened between the base and the carcass for sealing the gearmotor with water and the air.
- the seal 30 is first fixed to the carcass 4 by means of the lugs 40 constituting temporary fixing means. It is thus possible to handle, store or transport the carcass and the seal in one piece.
- the base 6 is then brought back to interpose the seal between the base and the carcass.
- These three elements are fixed by screwing screws 50 passing through the lugs 26 of the carcass and of the seal and in engagement with the lugs 26 of the base.
- the screws 50 constitute means of final fixing. It will be noted that the lugs 40 can remain snapped onto the carcass on the gearmotor in its final state.
- the seal 30 has in its wall orifices 52 at the base of the respective lugs 40 to allow the introduction of a tool intended to disengage each lug from the carcass if the separation of the seal and the carcass is necessary at one time or another. .
- the characteristics relating to the temporary fixing of the seal 30 to one of the carcass and the base and / or to the stops 44 may be implemented, independently of the presence of the metallic elements 46 in the seal.
