  • the foaming means 20 which is connected at the front end thereof to the transferring means 10 for transferring by force the preliminary granular foam, comprises a foaming chamber 21 constituted by a tubular body including a passage 26 which a fluidic heat medium of the temperature ranged between 70 °C to 120 °C is circulated through, a heater and a heating means; a dry vapor supplying port 23 arranged at the inner circumferential edge of the foaming chamber 21 for supplying a dry vapor of the temperature ranged between 110 °C to 140 °C to heat directly the preliminary granular foam 52, the dry vapor being supplied through a dry vapor supplying tube 22; and an air discharging port 25 arranged at the inner circumferential edge of the dry vapor supplying port 23 for discharging by force any air among the preliminary granular foam 52 through an air discharging tube 24 connected to a vacuum pump which is not shown in the drawings, to prevent formation of the blowhole in the heat insulating foam 51.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif qui permettent de former une mousse calorifuge sur un tuyau. Le dispositif permettant de former ladite mousse à la surface externe d'un tuyau comprend : un moyen de moussage (20), constitué d'un corps tubulaire, qui forme une mousse calorifuge (51) à la surface externe du tuyau (50) amené par un rouleau d'alimentation (41); un moyen de transport (10), relié à l'extrémité avant du moyen de moussage (20), qui pousse la mousse granulaire préliminaire (52) dans une chambre de moussage (21), de façon que ladite mousse recouvre uniformément la surface externe du tuyau (50); et un moyen d'application (30) d'adhésifs, qui applique les adhésifs à la surface externe du tuyau (50) de façon à accroître la force de liaison entre le tuyau (50) et la mousse granulaire préliminaire (52). L'invention permet d'effectuer très rapidement la pose des tuyaux du fait qu'elle ne nécessite pas de procédé d'isolation thermique supplémentaire. Le procédé de formation de la présente invention peut être utilisé immédiatement, ce qui augmente la productivité et réduit les coûts de production. Il permet notamment d'accroître la force de liaison entre la mousse calorifuge et le tuyau, du fait que l'on applique des adhésifs à la surface externe de ce dernier afin de former ladite mousse.
