Abstract
Dans un système de caméras multiples (101-103), les éléments vus par une pluralité de caméras sont mis en correspondance de façon à donner une représentation graphique. Un utilisateur désirant voir une zone située à l'intérieur du système pointe sur la position correspondante à l'intérieur de la représentation graphique par l'intermédiaire d'une interface utilisateur (171). Le dispositif détermine laquelle des caméras (101-103) contient le point indiqué dans son champ de vision et affiche la sortie de ladite caméra sur un moniteur (150). Si plus d'une caméra contient ledit point dans son champ de vision, l'utilisateur peut choisir quelle caméra utiliser pour l'affichage. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, des alarmes (111, 112) sont disposées à l'intérieur de la surface surveillée. Le déclenchement d'une alarme (111, 112) équivaut au pointage d'un utilisateur sur l'emplacement de l'alarme dans la représentation graphique.
