Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de régulation de la puissance d'un moteur à combustion interne, ainsi qu'un moteur à combustion interne. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que, au cours d'une première étape et lorsque la charge augmente, l'organe de commande de dosage du carburant est tourné en même temps qu'un levier d'actionnement qui est connecté à un dispositif de dosage du carburant. Cette rotation se fait selon un premier angle donné de manière à augmenter ainsi l'alimentation cyclique en carburant dans les cylindres. Au cours de la seconde étape et lorsque la charge continue d'augmenter, l'organe de commande de dosage du carburant est tourné en même temps que le levier d'actionnement selon un second angle donné. Cette rotation permet ainsi d'augmenter l'alimentation cyclique en carburant dans les cylindres, et d'assurer une connexion entre le levier d'actionnement et un mécanisme de modification du volume des cylindres. Il est ainsi possible d'accroître le volume de travail des cylindres tout en effectuant une correction correspondante du taux de compression. Lorsque la charge diminue sur le moteur, l'action exercée sur l'organe de commande de dosage du carburant se fait en sens inverse.
