Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe insert.
- Series-made a) or custom-made shoe inserts b) are known which both reduce or eliminate existing manufacturing defects in the inner shoe and can alleviate or prevent foot problems.
- insoles of conventional design for shoes and in particular for sports shoes are usually made of polyethylene foam (PE) with thermoplastic deformation. In the simplest case, they are only flat, in some cases the side edge in the arch area is reinforced and flanged up.
- PE material used proves to be disadvantageous because on the one hand it quickly loses its damping effect, on the other hand it tries to return to the original shape of the blank (memory effect), so that the desired support effect is not permanent.
- orthopedic insoles are also known, which are manufactured in aa) or cantilevered manner bb).
- thermoplastic insole form with foam padding is sometimes also made in the form of a shell.
- the basic material used is mostly EVA foam in block or mat form, which is processed by thermoplastic deformation as well as adhesive and abrasive processes.
- the invention specified in the protection claim is based on the object of developing a shoe insert which is suitable for the standard shoe equipment and which enables all feet or certain foot types to be better guided in the shoe and to stand firmly on the insert surface provided with foot corrections.
- the insert has a shell-shaped edge in the rear part, which tapers in a wedge shape at the top and ends clearly above the apex line of the sole of the foot.
- the foot Due to the wall thickness of the shoe insert decreasing according to the invention, the foot is elastically wedged and securely fixed in the shoe.
- the large wall thickness in the lower side edge of the insert with a slight curve below the insert ensures a good stand in the insert and stabilizes the foot in the longitudinal direction.
- the invention is based on the indeterminability of the foot width of the later wearer. The basis for solving the problem is the knowledge that the fat pads on the sole of the foot deform slightly under lateral pressure.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides for the insert to be made from foamed ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) in the so-called “injection / compression-molded” process, as a result of which the insert is only light in weight, but at the same time highly flexible, point-elastic and dimensionally stable and, moreover, it looks light can be seen from the shoe.
- EVA ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer
- an inexpensive series production is possible.
- the subject matter of the invention has a considerably greater hardness in the surface area than in the interior, as a result of which additional damping is achieved, which is characterized by progressive spring detection.
- Fig. 1 shows the shoe insert according to the invention in the oblique top view.
- Fig. 2 shows a cross section in the area of the arch of the foot.
- Fig. 3 shows a cross section through the rear part of the insert.
- Fig. 4 shows the state of a slender foot in the insert according to the invention in cross section.
- the bowl-shaped edge (2) of the shoe insert according to the invention begins to rise upwards approximately in the middle of the insert (1) and thicken at the same time.
- Fig. 2 shows a cross-section of the insert in the area of the arch of the foot (3).
- Fig. 3 shows that the edge (2) in the rear part of the insert is approximately the same height on both sides.
- the one in the middle of the Inlay pad (4) serves as support and correction of the foot, as does the lateral arch of the arch (3).
- Air holes (5) are incorporated in the front area of the insert, which promote air circulation in the shoe.
- the forefoot (6) is not enclosed by the insert and therefore remains free to move.
- the shell shape encloses the steep wall, horseshoe-shaped the rear foot (7) from the big toe joint to the small toe joint.
- the upward tapering edge ends far above the apex line of the sole of the foot (8).
- the shoe insert according to the invention is suitable both for the initial equipment of shoes, in particular sports shoes, and for individual retrofitting.
- the insert according to the invention makes it possible to achieve damping for the first time.
