  • the conveying means on the lift and on the structured platforms can be roller conveyors with independently powered rollers allowing for load/vehicle motion in both directions, or conveyors fitted with magnetic plates to reduce the friction by means of magnetic repulsion.
  • conveyors at right angles can be provided on the structured platforms, as well as conveyors with multidirectional moving spheric rollers, either free or powered, as shown in Fig. 5. Furthermore, misalignments of vehicles or loads can be corrected by individually controlling the right and left conveyors on the structured platforms or carrying platforms, such control being done automatically by computer means.

Abstract

Ces améliorations relatives à un système de parcage et de manipulation de véhicules ainsi que d'articles placés dans des box reposent sur une structure de stockage et des organes d'acheminement destinés à ces véhicules et articles. Cette structure de stockage comporte au moins une plate-forme structurée fixée à des organes de support. Les organes d'acheminement, qui comportent au moins une plate-forme de transport, sont rattachés, de manière à se déplacer, à des éléments structuraux verticaux. Le chargement et le déchargement desdits véhicules et articles placés dans des box sont assurés par des transporteurs montés sur ladite plate-forme structurée ainsi que sur ladite plate-forme d'acheminement. Le chargement et le déchargement des véhicules dans ledit élévateur comme dans les emplacements de stationnement sont assurés par des transporteurs à rouleaux ou des transporteurs sphériques. La structure de stockage peut être annexée à l'un des cotés d'un immeuble et quitter le niveau du sol de manière à laisser libre la circulation des piétons et celle des véhicules.
