Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'assembler deux éléments d'échelle à un seul montant (10, 12) dont chacun comporte un montant médian (14) et un nombre de barreaux (16) . Ce dispositif contient une lame (20) montée à l'extrémité d'un des éléments d'échelle (10) et des tôles d'accouplement (28) disposées à l'extrémité de l'autre élément d'échelle (12) et qui forment un espace (30) entre elles pour loger la lame (20). La lame (20) peut être montée sur la face arrière du montant médian (14) et se trouver dans un plan défini par l'axe longitudinal du montant médian (14). La fente (30) peut se rétrécir entre les tôles d'accouplement (28) dans le sens d'insertion. Un boulon d'arrêt (32) monté sur ressort peut s'encliqueter dans la fente (30), sur la lame (20), lorsque cette dernière est en position finale. La lame (20) peut être fixée sur une plaque (18) pouvant elle-même être fixée sur le montant médian (14) et les tôles d'accouplement (28) peuvent être fixées sur une plaque (26) pouvant elle-même être fixée sur le montant médian de l'autre élément d'échelle (12).
