Abstract
Um bei einem mehradrigen, kunststoffisolierten Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel, dessen Aderisolierungen (2), Innenmantel (4) und Außenmantel (5) jeweils aus einem halogenfreien, unvernetzten Kunststoff bestehen, die Umweltverträglichkeit und insbesondere die Recyclierbarkeit weiter zu verbessern, werden für die Aderisolierungen, den Innenmantel und den Außenmantel das gleiche, schwarz eingefärbte Basismaterial verwendet und die Aderisolierungen mit einer Aderkennzeichnung, zweckmäßig in Form eines farbigen Längsstriches (3), versehen. In einem Recyclingprozeß brauchen die verschiedenen, aus dem gleichen Kunststoffmaterial bestehenden Aufbauelemente des Kabels nicht getrennt zu werden.

Mehradriges, kunststoffisoliertes Niederspannungs-Starkstrom¬ kabel
Die Erfindung liegt auf dem Gebiet der Energieverteilung und befaßt sich mit der konstruktiven und Werkstofftechnischen Ausgestaltung eines mehradrigen, kunststoffisolierten Nieder¬ spannungs-Starkstromkabels im Sinne einer umweltverträglichen Wiederverwertbarkeit.
Um kunststoffisolierte Niederspannungskabel, wie sie für Energieversorgungsnetze eingesetzt werden, am Ende ihrer Le¬ bensdauer vollständig in die Produktion neuer Kabel zurück- führen zu können, ist eine Kabelkonstuktion bekannt, bei der für die Aufbauelernente Aderisolierung, Innenmantel und Außen¬ mantel nur noch umweltverträgliche (also halogenfreie) und recycelbare (also unvernetzte) Kunststoffe eingesetzt werden, wobei streng auf gute Trennbarkeit (Artenreinheit) der Stoff- komponenten geachtet wird. So wird als Aderisoliermaterial für die verschiedenen Adern ein thermoplastisches, unter¬ schiedlich eingefärbtes Elastomer auf EPDM-Basis verwendet, während für den Außenmantel ein polyvalentes, thermoplasti¬ sches und halogenfreies Material auf der Basis eines Copoly- meren eingesetzt wird, das mit einem inerten, mineralischen
Flammschutz gefüllt ist. Das Aderisoliermaterial ist dabei so ausgelegt, daß es Leitertemperaturen von bis zu 90°C im Dauerbetrieb, von 110°C im Notbetrieb und von 250°C im Kurz¬ schlußfall standhält. Bei der Herstellung dieses Kabels wird auch auf umweltschonende Produktionsmethoden (z. B. kleinst- öglicher Einsatz von Kühlwasser und elektrischer Energie) und Wahrung der Wirtschaftlichkeit geachtet (DE-2 "elektro- technik» - Heft 12 - 17.Dez.1993, Seiten 24, 26 und 35).
Ausgehend von einem Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Patentanspruches 1 liegt der
Erfindung die Aufgabe, die Umweltverträglichkeit eines sol¬ chen Kabels durch sortenminimierten Werkstoffeinsatz weiter zu verbessern.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist gemäß dem kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruches 1 vorgesehen, daß die Aderisolierung, der Innen- und der Außenmantel aus dem gleichen Basismaterial bestehen, wobei der Innenmantel von einer Bespinnung gebildet wird, daß das Basismaterial schwarz eingefärbt ist und daß die Aderisolierungen mit einer Aderkennzeichnung versehen sind.
Bei einem derart ausgebildeten Kabel wird für alle aus elek¬ trischen und/oder mechanischen Gründen als Umhüllung dienende Aufbauelemente das gleiche Basismaterial eingesetzt. Dadurch lassen sich Materialverbrauch, Energieverbrauch, Rückstände und Abfall minimieren und Produktionskosten reduzieren und optimieren. Bei einer Wiederverwertung der genannten Aufbau- elemente erübrigt sich eine Unterscheidung zwischen den Iso- lier aterialien der einzelnen Adern, des Innenmantels und des Außenmantels, insbesondere dann, wenn das zur Wiederverarbei¬ tung vorgesehene Material, also das Recyclat, ausschließlich zur Herstellung von Folien für den Innenmantel und von Außen¬ mänteln verwendet wird. Dabei sind die für die Kennzeichnung der Adern eingesetzten Materialien ohne wirksamen Einfluß auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften des Mantelmaterials und dessen Farbgebung. Insgesamt liegt ein halogenfreies, flexibles Ka¬ bel vor, das auch vollkommen schwermetallfrei ausgebildet sein kann, sofern für die Aderkennzeichnung entsprechende Farbpigmente bzw. Farbbatche eingesetzt werden; solche
Farbbatche, z. B. mit dem Handelsnamen "Sicolen" der Firma BASF oder dem Handelsnamen "Blau Ral 5015" der Bayrischen Kabelwerke, DE,lassen sich auch dem Basismaterial beimischen, so daß die Adern des Kabels in einfacher Weise durch einen extrudierten, farbigen Längsstrich (blau, braun, gelb) gekennzeichnet werden können. Alternativ kommt aber auch eine
hellfarbige Bedruckung mit unterschiedlichen Kennzeichen in Betracht.
Als Basismaterial für Aderisolierungen, Innen- und Außenman- tel kann im Rahmen der Erfindung ein gegen Spannungsrißanfäl¬ ligkeit stabilisiertes Polyäthylen verwendet werden, dessen Dichte zwischen 0,92 und 0,94 g/cπß liegt und dessen Shore-D- Härte größer oder wenigstens gleich 42 ist. Ein derartiges Material, bei dem es sich um ein Low-Density-Polyäthylen han- delt, das beispielsweise mit einem kleinen Anteil eines
Äthylen-Vinylacetat-Copoymers modifiziert ist, weist einer¬ seits die für den Außenmantel und für das den Innenmantel bildende Bandmaterial erforderlichen mechanischen Eigen¬ schaften und andererseits die für die Aderisolierung erfor- derlichen elektrischen Eigenschaften auf und läßt sich ggf. mit fachüblichen Mitteln sowohl gegen Alterung als auch gegen Kupferoxydation stabilisieren. Hinsichtlich der Wärmestandfe¬ stigkeit der Aderisolierung hält es Dauertemperaturen von kleiner/gleich 70°C am Leiter stand. Sofern eine Dauertempe- ratur von maximal 90°C beherrscht werden soll, kommen im Rah¬ men der Erfindung als Basismaterial handelsübliche ther¬ moplastische Elastomere auf Polypropylen-Basis zum Einsatz. Auch solche Materialien lassen sich mit fachüblichen Mitteln sowohl gegen Alterung als auch gegen KupferOxydation stabili- sieren. Ein geeignetes Material ist beispielsweise ein mit einem Äthylen-Propylen-Co- oder -Terpolymer modifiziertes Po¬ lypropylen, also ein Polyblend mit getrennten Phasen (DE-Z "Kautschuk + Gummi. Kunststoffe, Nr. 9/86, Seiten 804, 806; DE-Z "Kautschuk + Gummi Kunststoffe, Nr. 8/86, Seiten 695/96; DE-Z "Kunststoffe" 1989, Heft 7, Seiten 606 bis 611) . Derar¬ tige thermoplastische Elastomere werden beispielsweise von der Firma Monsanto unter der Bezeichnung "Santoprene" ver¬ trieben. - Mit besonderem Vorteil, weil weniger energieauf¬ wendig in der Herstellung, lassen sich jedoch als Basismate- rial Polypropylen-Reaktorblends mit einem Elastomergehalt > 25 Gewichtsprozent verwenden, wie sie für spezielle Be-
dürfnisse der Automobilindustrie entwickelt worden sind (DE-Z "Kunststoffe", 1992, Heft 6, Seiten 499 bis 501). Entspre¬ chende Materialien werden von der Firma BASF unter dem Han¬ delsnamen "Novolen" und auch von der Firma Himont, USA ver- trieben.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des neuen Starkstromkabels ist in der Figur dargestellt.
Die Figur zeigt ein vieradriges Niederspannungs-Starkstromka¬ bel, dessen sektorförmige, aus Aluminium oder Kupfer beste¬ hende Leiter 1 jeweils mit einer extrudierten Kunststoffiso- lierung 2 umgeben sind. Ober dem aus den vier Adern gebilde¬ ten Verseilverband ist eine Folienbespinnung 4 aufgebracht, die ihrerseits von dem extrudierten Außenmantel 5 umgeben ist. - Für die Aderisolierungen 2, die Folienbespinnung 4 und den Außenmantel 5 wurde jeweils das gleiche Basismaterial, nämlich ein handelsübliches Low-Density-Polyäthylen "Lupolen 2012 D" der Firma BASF mit einer Dichte von 0,919 bis 0,924 g/cm^ verwendet. Dieses Basismaterial ist mittels Ruß schwarz eingefärbt, (wodurch die Dichte auf etwa 0,933 bis 0,939 g/cm^ steigt) , so daß sowohl die Aderisolierung als auch die Bespinnung als auch der Außenmantel schwarz sind. Die einzelnen Adern werden voneinander dadurch unterschieden, daß drei Adern mit einem extrudierten, farbigen Längsstrich 3 versehen sind, wobei die Farbpigmente blau, braun und gelb verwendet wurden. Hierbei kamen schwermetallfreie Farbbatche zum Einsatz.
Anstelle des erwähnten Basismaterials auf Polyäthylen-Basis kann für die Aderisolierungen 2, die Folienbespinnung 4 und den Außenmantel 5 auch ein Polypropylen-Reaktorblend mit ei¬ nem Elastomergehalt von beispielsweise 43 % Äthylen-Propylen- Kautschuk (EPM) (z. B. "Novolen" 2912 HX der Firma BASF) ver- wendet werden.
Die für die Herstellung des Innenmantels verwendete Folie aus dem durch Zugabe von Ruß schwarz eingefärbten Basismaterial hat eine Wandstärke von 100 bis 120 um und wird zweckmäßig in einlagiger Bespinnung mit Überlappung aufgebracht.
Sofern an ein gemäß der Erfindung aufgebautes Kabel besondere Anforderungen hinsichtlich der Flammwidrigkeit gestellt wer¬ den, muß das Konzept "gleiches Basismaterial für alle als Umhüllung dienende Aufbauelemente" verlassen werden. Um der Anforderung "non corrosiv (NC)", d.h. "halogenfrei" zu genü¬ gen, kann dann anstelle eines bisher üblichen Außenmantels aus PVC ein Außenmantel auf der Basis eines füllstoffverträg¬ lichen Olefin-Homopolymer oder Olefin-Copolymer eingesetzt werden. Geeignete Polymere sind beispielsweise Äthylen-Vinyl- acetat-Copolymere mit einem VA-Anteil von 10 bis 30 % sowie Polyäthylene mit sehr niedriger Dichte, sogenannte ULD-PE (Dichte ca. 0,91 g/cm3 ) , und insbesondere unpolare Copolymere wie beispielsweise metallocenkatalysierte Polyäthylene ("International Wire + Cable Symposium Proceedings", 1991, Seite 397 ff; und "Kunststoffe", 1993, Heft 12, Seiten 985 bis 987) . Diesem Basismaterial ist jeweils ein flammwidriger Füllstoff in Form eines Aluminium-Oxydhydrates oder Magne¬ sium-Hydroxids in einer Menge von etwa 30 Gew.% bzw. von etwa 70 Gewichtsteilen auf 100 Gewichtsteile des polymeren Basis- materials beizugeben. Zweckmäßig ist als weiterer Füllstoff Kreide in einer Menge von 25 Gew.% bzw. 50 Gewichtsteilen auf 100 Gewichtsteile des polymeren Basismaterials zugefügt. - Die genannten polymeren Basismaterialien sind handelsüblich. Die genannten unpolaren Copolymere werden beispielsweise von der Firma Dow Chemical, USA unter der Bezeichnung "Engage"- Polymere und von der Fa. Exxon, USA unter der Bezeichnung "Exxpol" vertrieben. - Bei einem derart ausgebildeten Kabel ist die bisher übliche Sortenvielfalt für Isolier-, Innen¬ mantel- und Außenmantel-Materialien insofern reduziert, als für die Isolierungen und den Innenmantel das gleiche Basis¬ material zum Einsatz kommt, also insgesamt lediglich zwei
verschiedene Basismaterialien verwendet werden, die bei der Wiederverwertung eines solchen Kabels getrennt erfaßt und getrennt aufbereitet werden können.
Claims
1. Mehradriges, kunststoffisoliertes Niederspannungs-Stark¬ stromkabel, dessen verseilte Adern von einem Innen- und einem Außenmantel umgeben sind, wobei die Aderisolierungen und der Außenmantel jeweils aus einem halogenfreien, unvernetzten Kunststoff auf Olefin-Basis bestehen, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß die Aderisolierung (2), der Innen- (4) und der Außen an- tel (5) aus dem gleichen Basismaterial bestehen, wobei der Innenmantel (4) von einer Bespinnung gebildet wird, daß das Basismaterial schwarz eingefärbt ist und daß die Aderisolierungen (2) mit einer Aderkennzeichnung (3) versehen sind.

Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß das Basismaterial aus einem handelsüblichen, gegen Span¬ nungsrißanfälligkeit stabilisierten Polyäthylen besteht, des- sen Dichte zwischen 0,92 und 0,94 g/cτr liegt und dessen Shore-D-Härte größer oder wenigstens gleich 42 ist.
3. Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß das Basismaterial aus einem handelsüblichen thermoplasti¬ schen Elastomer auf Polypropylen-Basis besteht.
4. Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel nach Anspruch 3, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß das thermoplastische Elastomer ein mit einem Äthylen-Pro- pylen-Co- oder -Terpolymer modifiziertes Polypropylen ist.
5. Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel nach Anspruch 3, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß das thermoplastische Elastomer ein Polypropylen-Reaktor- blend mit einem Elastomergehalt größer 25 Gew.% ist.
6. Niederspannungs-Starkstromkabel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß die Aderkennzeichnung aus extrudierten farbigen Längsstrichen (3) besteht, für deren Farbgebung schwermetallfreie Farbpig¬ mente verwendet sind.

Außenmantel umgeben sind, wobei die Aderisolierungen und der Außenmantel jeweils aus einem halogenfreien, unvernetzten Kunststoff auf Olefin-Basis bestehen, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß die Aderisolierung (2)und der Innenmantel aus dem gleichen Basismaterial bestehen, wobei der Innenmantel (4) von einer Bespinnung gebildet wird, daß das Basismaterial schwarz eingefärbt ist, daß die Aderisolierungen (2) mit einer Aderkennzeichnung (3) versehen sind und daß für den Außenmantel (5) als Basismaterial ein füllstoffverträgliches Olefin-Homopolymer oder Olefin- Copolymer verwendet ist, dem als flammwidriger Zusatz Aluminium-Oxydhydrat oder Magnesium-Hydroxid in einer Menge von etwa 30 Gew.% zugefügt ist.
