Abstract
Dans certains véhicules, le conducteur est assis dans une position similaire à celle de conducteurs de karts, c'est-à-dire, le siège du conducteur se situe très bas au milieu du véhicule, par rapport aux côtés du véhicules, de sorte que le siège et les pieds se situent dans un plan qui n'est guère plus haut que le panneau de fond. Dans ces véhicules, les agencements classiques des sièges ne permettent pas d'ajouter un autre siège à la carrosserie sans augmenter considérablement ses dimensions. Le nouvel agencement de sièges doit permettre d'ajouter un autre siège sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'agrandir considérablement les dimensions du véhicule. Afin d'obtenir un habitacle aussi court que possible, les sièges sont rapprochés. L'emplacement pour les jambes du passager arrière se situe de part et d'autre du siège avant, sa jambe droite (5) du côté droit et sa jambe gauche du côté gauche du siège avant. Cet agencement de sièges permet de construire un deux-places plat et compact avec deux sièges (3 & 4) très rapprochés situés l'un derrière l'autre au milieu du véhicule.
