Abstract

L'invention concerne des moyens de retraitement de déchets industriels solides contenant du caoutchouc, et notamment de retraitement de pneus usés d'automobiles. Afin de réduire l'impact du retraitement des déchets sur l'environnement, et d'en améliorer l'efficacité, on charge des enveloppes de pneus usés d'automobiles dans un réacteur (1) par un dispositif de chargement (2). Le réacteur (1) est chauffé à la température voulue comprise entre 400 et 700 °C, les jets (11) étant allumés et une pompe (12) faisant démarrer le flux de circulation autour de la pièce à traiter. Une fois que la température dans le réacteur (1) a atteint 400 °C, les composés de masse moléculaire élevée subissent une conversion par l'élimination des hydrocarbures volatils lesquels, avec la vapeur, pénètrent dans le refroidisseur (4). Lorsqu'il quitte le refroidisseur le mélange de vapeur et de gaz pénètre dans le condenseur (5) où les fractions de vapeur et d'hydrocarbures lourds se condensent. Le liquide se stabilise et se sépare en couches dans le séparateur (6) de condensat. Le mélange gazeux est reconduit dans le système en partie jusqu'à un dispositif consommateur, et en partie vers les jets (11). Une fois le liquide stabilisé en couches, il est évacué du séparateur (6) de condensat. Les hydrocarbures pénètrent dans une cuve (13) et sont dirigés vers un dispositif consommateur ou envoyés pour retraitement. L'eau provenant du séparateur (6) de condensat est réintroduite dans le circuit par une pompe (12) afin de produire une vapeur surchauffée. L'eau est chauffée et bout dans le refroidisseur (4) des gaz produits dans la pyrolyse, la vapeur résultante est surchauffée dans l'unité (10) jusqu'à une température voulue comprise entre 400 et 700 °C. Un résidu solide reste dans le réacteur (1) sous la forme d'un cordon de métal et de pyrocarbone poreux. Le réacteur est refroidi et dépressurisé à l'aide du dispositif de déchargement (3). Les résidus solides sont transportés par un convoyeur (8) jusqu'à un séparateur magnétique (7) séparant les impuretés métalliques. Le pyrocarbone fini pénètre dans la trémie de réception (9).
