Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door or window hinge with a pin part and a sleeve part, the pin of the pin part being held adjustable in height, the pin being displaceable in the axial direction thereof, and an adjusting part which is designed to be screwed and aligned axially with the pin and rotatably mounted in the pin part is provided.
  • Such door or window strips have one or more radially freely projecting threaded bolts both on the pin part and on the sleeve part, which engage on the one hand in the door or window frame and on the other hand in the door or the window itself.
  • the pin of the pin part is designed to be height-adjustable, so that the sleeve part can be raised more or less than the pin part. This allows the door or window hinge to be adjusted in the direction of the axis of rotation.
  • a hinge band has already become known, in which the pin is provided with an external thread and the pin part with an internal thread, so that the height of the pin has to be turned more or less into the pin part.

So that a fixation of the pin can be achieved at all, a lock nut is required here in any case, which must be driven with the appropriate effort.
  • CH-PS-383 202 A similar known design is provided for a hinge for doors, windows and the like (CH-PS-383 202). In this version, too, a threaded pin is screwed into a threaded hole in the pin part, the height adjustment being fixed by a corresponding lock nut.
  • the sleeve part has a larger recess on its lower side in order to cover the nut or lock nut.
  • Another possibility of height adjustment (AT-PS-168 988) provides for a pin which is fixed in the pin part and on the free end of which a screw which is held in the sleeve part and supports the same axis is supported. By turning this screw, a height adjustment of the sleeve part of the door or window hinge is of course also achieved, but such an adjustment is always visible from the outside and can be operated by anyone without any problems.
  • FIG. 1 Another known arrangement (AT-PS-383 389) is about a drilling pin band, in which a pin designed as an axis boating is supported on a height adjustment screw with a conical end face.

  • This adjustment unit is easily visible from the outside and can therefore be adjusted again at any time. Securing the set altitude is at least attempted by pressing a threaded bolt into a corresponding opening on the circumference of the pin. If, however, the height adjustment screw becomes loose, the pin can move downward under the load on the suspended door or window, so that the height adjustment is lost.
  • the present invention therefore has for its object to provide a simple, effective and self-locking adjustment for the pin of the pin part of a door or window hinge of the type mentioned.

The pin can then be inserted into the pin part in two positions offset by 180 °. Abstract
