PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1. hinge, with a pin engaging in a sleeve, the sleeve and pin being supported against one another, characterized in that the support (7, 12, 8) of the sleeve (9) and pin (4) is axially adjustable by means of a thread.
2. Band according to claim 1, characterized in that the pin (4) is provided with a thread (5) by means of which it is axially adjustable in its holder (2).
3. Band according to claim 1, characterized in that the base (12) of the sleeve (9) is designed as an adjustable screw (11).
4. Band according to claim 1, characterized in that on the pin (14) as a support for the sleeve (18) formed nut (19) can be screwed.
5. Band according to claim 1, characterized in that a knurled disc (15) is provided for adjusting the support.
The invention relates to a hinge band with a pin engaging in a sleeve, the sleeve and pin being supported against one another.
Such tapes are widely used, e.g. for doors, windows, furniture doors, etc. In particular with doors, it often happens that the installation height must be changed by the hinge. So far, this has been carried out in a comparatively arduous manner in that the door is unhooked, one or more spacer disks are placed between the pin and the sleeve, after which the door can be hung in again. Apart from the fact that this work is time-consuming, it is not possible to adjust the installation height precisely and sensitively. Due to the weight of the door, the axial pressure is only ever carried by one band, precisely because an exact setting is not possible.
The aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to create a hinge strap which is simple and precise to adjust. This is achieved in that the support of the sleeve and pin is axially adjustable by means of a thread. In the case of a hinge band according to the invention, the support therefore only needs to be adjusted by screwing in the thread to a greater or lesser extent without the door or the like having to be unhooked.
The thread can be arranged in various ways within the scope of the invention. In an expedient embodiment, the pin is provided with a thread by means of which it is axially adjustable in its holder.
But it is also possible that the base of the sleeve is designed as an adjustable screw.
In a further embodiment of the invention, a nut designed as a support for the sleeve can be screwed onto the pin.
The invention is described in more detail below with the aid of three exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. 1 shows a part of the band provided with the pin and FIG. 2 shows the part of the band provided with the sleeve; Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment in view.
According to FIG. 1, a bracket 2 is connected with a screw 1. Using the screw 1, the bracket 2 can e.g.
can be attached to a door frame, a furniture body or the like. The holder 2 is provided with a continuous thread 3, the axis of which extends transversely to the screw 1. A screw 4 is screwed into the holder 2 and is provided on its underside with an external thread 5 that matches the internal thread 3. A slot 6 arranged on the underside enables the threads 3 and 5 to be screwed together, so that the height of the pin can be changed.
Therefore, if the usual sleeve of a hinge is pushed onto the pin 4, the end face 7 of the pin comes to rest on the base of the sleeve and this can be moved axially by screwing the pin 4 together with the door or the like connected thereto to different degrees.
An unwanted twisting of the pin can e.g. thereby preventing a worm screw from being subsequently screwed into the thread 3 as a counter screw at its adjustment. However, as indicated in the drawing, the external thread 5 can also be provided with a lock nut 8.
2 again has a screw 1 for fastening e.g. on a door leaf. With this screw, the sleeve 9 is connected, which is provided with an internal thread 10. In this thread 10, a screw 11 is screwed, which has a flat lower surface 12. The surface 12 forms the base of the sleeve on which the upper surface of an inserted pin is seated. E.g. 1, this would be the surface 7. Since, owing to the possibility of screwing the surface 12, a simultaneous screwing of the pin is not absolutely necessary, a part with a fixed arrangement can also be used in connection with the sleeve according to FIG Cones are used.
To adjust the screw 11, an inner polygon 13 is provided in this example.
3, the pin 14 is fixedly connected to a knurled disc 15. Below the knurled disc 15, the pin 14 is provided with a thread 16 which can be screwed into an internal thread 17 of the sleeve 18. A knurled nut 19 serves as a lock nut in order to prevent the pin 14 from being rotated unintentionally.
When the knurled wheel 15 is rotated, its height and thus also the height of the pin 14 firmly connected to it will change and the sleeve, which does not rest on the upper surface of the pin 14 with its base, but with its edge on the knurled wheel 15, is also moved .
This exemplary embodiment is a particularly advantageous embodiment because no tools are required for adjustment due to the use of knurled washers or nuts.
