Definitions

  • the invention relates to a frame-post connection according to the features in the preamble of claim 1.
  • EP-A-357 985 discloses a connection of two profiled rails which run at an angle to one another or are in alignment.
  • the connection has a connection fitting that overlaps the connection joint that is formed by the two profile rails to be connected.
  • This has at least one clamping eccentric which is rotatably mounted in an outwardly (laterally) open cylindrical recess of a profile rail and which consists of two disks connected by a bridge offset from the eccentric center and provided with an eccentrically arranged receiving bore for a nut bolt receiving the threaded end of a hammer head screw, wherein the washers through the bridge of the clamping eccentric delimit a U-shaped recess open to the circumference of the clamping eccentric, into which the shaft of the hammer head screw extends.
  • the clamping eccentric is accordingly designed as a cylinder piece which is rotatably mounted in a cylindrical, open-out recess of a profile rail.
  • the hammer head of the hammer head screw therefore lies in the grooves that extend longitudinally in the profile rails.
  • the hammer head screw is screwed into the nut bolt with its threaded end.
  • Such a corner or butt joint of profile rails is used in particular for the production of assembly workstations of linked machine base frames.
  • the known connection should be suitable and expedient for this purpose.
  • profiled rails to be connected must have at least one undercut groove which extends over the entire length of the profile and is T-shaped in cross section, open to the outside. This means that only profile rails can be used which have such a groove extending over the entire profile length.
  • the recesses or blind holes open to the outside for receiving the clamping eccentric also have visual impairments, since the recesses either remain open to the outside or are covered in a complex manner Need to become. Recesses open to the outside also counteract all-round tightness.
  • connection can loosen or at least loosen in the known design. This can e.g. occur through a vibrating load.
  • the hammer head rotates 90 °, a secure connection of the profile rails is no longer guaranteed, since the hammer head can slide out of the grooves.
  • the known design is also unsuitable for a frame construction that is tight on all sides.
  • FR-A-2 313 586 describes a non-generic connection which is established via two recesses made laterally from the outside in the profiles to be connected and a channel connecting these recesses.
  • a holding sleeve, a clamping bolt and a clamping eccentric must be inserted from the outside into the blind holes.
  • the profile rails to be connected can be fixed by swiveling the clamping eccentric.
  • An abutment that crosses a post is not apparent from the known design.
  • blind bores that are open to the outside are specified for receiving the clamping eccentric.
  • the clamping eccentrics are inserted from the side into the receptacles. There is no suggestion to provide an abutment mounted on both sides in the post, which completely penetrates the post transversely.
  • the invention has for its object with regard to construction and To improve the way of functioning in such a way that a simpler, yet flawless assembly of frame and post can be made possible with a reduced expenditure of material and time.
  • connection is independent of the cross section of a frame and of a post to be assembled with the frame.
  • the post to be placed only has to be hollow at the end.
  • a longitudinal groove extending over the entire length of the profile rails to be assembled is not necessary.
  • a blind hole to be inserted laterally into the profile rails for receiving the clamping eccentric is also avoided in the frame-post connection according to the invention.
  • All holes in the frame and in the post for fixing the anchor and abutment can already be made in the factory.
  • the anchor needs to be fixed in the drill hole of the frame prepared at the factory, the abutment inserted in the post and then the frame and post must be connected to each other without any problems by manually locking the locking element around its pivot axis, for example with the help of a hexagon wrench, is rotated, the anchor head being received by the locking element.
  • a required water and dust tightness can advantageously be achieved by incorporating a sealing profile between the frame and the post.
  • This sealing profile is on the contour of the components to be connected adapted and preferably deflected several times or executed like a labyrinth.
  • the element essential to the connection consists of the anchor and the abutment. This is made up of three parts.
  • the anchor is formed by a sleeve with an internal thread and a screw bolt with a cylindrical head and hexagon socket that can be turned into the internal thread.
  • the sleeve has a T-shaped anchor head with a lenticular profile.
  • To connect the bolt and sleeve the bolt is passed through corresponding holes in the frame and then screwed to the sleeve.
  • the abutment for the anchor head is arranged in the post by means of a pivot bolt which passes through the post transversely. This abutment is formed by the pivotably mounted eccentric element in the form of a locking element.
  • the abutment penetrates the post completely across and is supported on both sides. It is therefore very resistant to tension and torsion with regard to its construction, which gives a very considerable advantage in terms of the stability of the connection.
  • the locking element After the locking element has been inserted into the post and then plugged together with the pivot pin and a screw bolt, the locking element can be freely rotated about the pivot axis. The locking element is completely closed to the outside and is captively stored.
  • the locking recesses according to claim 2 have the advantage that the fitter feels after a certain angle of rotation of the locking element, for example about 90 °, by snapping the anchor head into the locking recesses that the desired bracing position of the frame and post is now reached.
  • the stability of the locking element is further increased by the features of claim 5.
  • the segment-like side walls with the upper side flattened with respect to the locking recesses result in a shell body that is sufficiently torsion-resistant to safely absorb the loads on train, bending, shear and torsion that act on the connection between frame and post.
  • the distance between the inner surfaces of the side walls is slightly larger than the diameter of the anchor head.
  • the pivot pin has a polygonal length section, which covers the recesses in the side walls. In this way, the required torque for pivoting the locking element and for bracing the frame and post can be applied correctly.
  • the production of the pivot pin is easy because it is an easy to manufacture mass-produced item.
  • both the head of the pivot pin and the head of the screw bolt are cylindrical with a hexagon socket.
  • Such heads can also be easily provided with covers adapted to the material and / or the color of the post.
  • the bolt is also an easy-to-manufacture mass-produced item.
  • FIGS. 1 to 4 denotes a length section of a frame made of a drawn hollow plastic profile.
  • 2 denotes a setting post to be connected at right angles to the frame 1.
  • the post 2 also consists of a drawn plastic hollow profile. It can be used both as a fastening element for a window sash and as a stop for the same.
  • the setting post 2 is adapted in the end section facing the frame 1 to the contour of the frame 1. This can be seen particularly clearly from FIGS. 3 and 4.
  • a sealing profile 4 made of plastic is used, which can be seen in Figures 2 and 4.
  • Both the frame 1 and the post 2 are stiffened on the inside by polygonal steel hollow profiles 5, 6. These hollow profiles 5, 6 can be drawn or folded from a sheet.
  • FIGS. 1 to 4 show that the armature 7 consists of a sleeve 9 with an internal thread 10 and a screw bolt 11 with a cylindrical head 12 and an internal hexagon 13 which can be screwed into the internal thread 10.
  • the sleeve 9 has a T-shaped anchor head 14 with a lenticular cross-section, which can have a slot 15 in the head surface for attaching a screwdriver (FIGS. 3 and 4).
  • the screw bolt 11 is inserted through corresponding bores 16, 17 in the frame 1 and in the hollow steel profile 5 (FIG. 4) and then screwed to the sleeve 9.
  • a tangible connection of screw bolt 11 and sleeve 9 is sufficient, the sleeve 9 with its end face 18 on the inner surface 19 and the head 12 of the screw bolt 11 with its underside 20 on the outer surface 21 of the frame 1 (FIGS. 1 and 2 ).
  • bores 22-25 of different diameters are machined in the setting post 2 and in the hollow steel profile 6 embedded therein. These holes 22-25 are used to receive a pivot pin 26 with a cylindrical head 27 and hexagon socket 28 ( Figure 3).
  • This pivot pin 26 has a central longitudinal section 29 with a square cross-section, to which cylindrical pivot bearings 30, 31 adjoin on both sides to the diameter of the bores 22-25 in the post 2 and the hollow steel profile 6.
  • the end of the pivot bolt 26 facing away from the cylindrical head 27 is provided with an internal thread 32 into which a screw bolt 33 with a cylindrical head 34 and hexagon socket 35 can be screwed.
  • the square longitudinal section 29 of the pivot pin 26 is adapted to corresponding recesses 36 in the side walls 37 of a shell-like locking element 38 forming part of the abutment 8 (FIGS. 3 and 4).
  • the side walls 37 are connected to one another by a web 39 which is crescent-shaped in cross section.
  • the distance between the inner surfaces of the side walls 37 is slightly larger than the diameter of the anchor head 14.
  • Crescent-shaped tines 40 are formed on the inner surfaces of the side walls 37 and are separated from one another by an insertion gap 41.
  • the insertion gap 41 extends in the longitudinal axis 42 of the armature 7 (FIG. 3). Its width is adapted to the diameter of the shaft 43 of the anchor head 14.
  • the concave inner surfaces 45 of the tines 40 extending from the flattened upper side 44 of the locking element 38 run eccentrically to the pivot axis 46 of the locking element 38.
  • the locking element 38 After inserting the locking element 38 into the setting post 2 and then plugging it together with the pivot pin 26 and the screw bolt 33, the locking element 38 can be freely rotated about the pivot axis 46.
  • the locking element 38 When assembling window frame 1 and post 2, the locking element 38 is rotated about the pivot axis 46 before the placement of the window post 2 on the window frame 1, with the sealing profile 4 being incorporated beforehand Lenticular anchor head 14 of the sleeve 9 can be inserted between the side walls 37 of the locking element 38 from the top 44 without any problems. Is then the post 2 in positive contact with the frame 1 ( Figures 1 and 2), the locking element 38 is rotated with the help of the pivot pin 26 so that the prongs 40 of the locking element 38 can grip under the anchor head 14 and due to the pivot axis 46 of the locking element 38 eccentrically extending concave inner surfaces 45 pull the setting post 2 firmly against the frame 1. Frame 1 and post 2 are now properly clamped together.
