Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un complexe de chrome réduit par réduction d'au moins un composé sélectionné parmi des composés de chrome (III) et de chrome (IV), possédant chacun un anion oxygène comme ligand, avec un agent de réduction et en présence d'un donneur d'électrons, en un composé de chrome (II); un procédé permettant de produire un catalyseur constitué d'un complexe de chrome réduit, par mélange d'un donneur d'électrons, d'au moins un composé choisi parmi des composés de chrome (III), de chrome (IV), de chrome (V) et de chrome (VI), possédant chacun un anion oxygène comme ligand, d'un agent réducteur, et d'un composé aluminiumoxy; et un procédé permettant de produire un oligomère oléfinique par réaction d'une oléfine en présence dudit catalyseur constitué d'un complexe de chrome réduit. Ce procédé permet de produire, de façon sélective et avec efficacité, de l'héxène-1 et de l'octène-1 utiles comme comonomères d'un polyéthylène basse densité linéaire.
