- Contact pins of the type mentioned are known. They serve as a power supply for electric lamps, especially for halogen lamps.
- a disadvantage of the known contact pins is that the connection of the current-carrying conductor to the ceramic insulation is not wobble-free, which leads to vibrations of the incandescent filament and thus has a negative effect on its service life.
- the metal-insulation connection is wobble-free, but at higher temperatures to which the contact pins are exposed, volatile substances gas out, which are deposited on the reflector of the lamp. The insulation loses its shape at correspondingly high temperatures.
- the invention seeks to remedy this.
- the invention achieves the object in that the second jump is followed by a second jump which protrudes slightly from the channel and is provided with a compression.

- This step 7 is provided with a compression 8, whereby the contact pin 1 is positively and wobble-free connected to the ceramic insulation 2 in cooperation with step 6. It can be advantageous to provide the undercut 7 with an undercut 9.

- the contact pin has upsets 11 in the area of the recesses 10.
- the upsets 8, 11 on the contact pin can be produced in a manner known per se. Hot upsetting has proven to be particularly advantageous.
