Abstract

Box (1) for swab taking for medical use, provided with a sliding closure system of hard plastic material and wherein a personal card is introduced and which may be adapted to various rectangular or square boxes by a special welding, said box comprising an intermediary cover (3) retained against the bottom (4) of the box by means of the closure element (2) in order to define between the bottom and the intermediary cover housings conformed to the articles (14) to be conditioned and transported.

Description

Box closure system with its lid which can be adapted to various sample collection boxes for medical use.

Gutter in hard plastic, sealed on a more flexible plastic box, freeing up half a centimeter of space allowing to slide a personalized cardboard for the medical secretary.

The present invention relates and essentially relates to a box which may be of variable dimensions, for the packaging and transport of objects such as for example tubes or bottles.

The present invention more particularly relates to a box for packaging and transporting objects used in particular in the medical field as a box for taking samples. In other words, the objects contained in said box are, for example, sampling tubes and accessories allowing these samples to be taken.

The present invention aims to provide a series of packaging boxes and simple manufacturing transport and low cost, allowing to transport objects without risk of displacement thereof in the box.

In this regard, the subject of the invention is a box for packaging and transporting objects such as, for example, collection tubes and accessories or the like for medical use comprising a box body comprising a bottom and side walls having an oriented rim. outwardly of the body and a characterized cover. in that said box comprises a second cover disposed in said box body and formed with cells of shape combined with those of the cells formed on the bottom of said box body to define housings for said objects, said second cover being kept pressed on said objects by said first cover, or personalized cardboard being constituted by a slide in which the personalized cardboard is inserted. Furthermore, one of the edges of the slide comprises an orifice which is opposite, in the closed position of the box, with an orifice of the first planar cover to allow said box to be locked or sealed in the closed position. Preferably, and in particular for boxes containing sampling tubes and accessories for medical use, the first flat cover includes inscriptions intended in particular for the identification of the sampling carried out. The invention will be better understood and other characteristics, details and advantages thereof will appear more clearly during the explanatory description which follows, made with reference to the attached diagrammatic drawing given solely by way of example, in which:

- Figure 9 a bacteriological sample box. Referring to FIG. 1, the box resulting from the invention comprises a box body (1), a first cover (2) or personalized cardboard and a second cover forming a counter-cover (3).

According to the invention, the box body (1) comprises a bottom (4) having cells (15) for disposing of objects (14) such as sampling tubes and accessories for medical use.

Advantageously, the bottom of the box includes elements (9) projecting downward to form feet.

The body of the box (1) is advantageously made of flexible plastic and manufactured by molding.

According to the invention, the second cover or counter-cover (3) which is made of flexible plastic material by molding, has cells (9) forming waves of shape combined with those of the cells (15) at the bottom (4) for define between the bottom (4) and the counter-cover (3) housings of shape combined with the shape of the articles (14) to be packaged and transported. Advantageously, the counter-cover (3) has surfaces (10) projecting upwards to form a bearing surface against the lower surface of the cover (2) or personalized cardboard when the latter is introduced into the gutter of the body. from the box (1). Thus the counter-cover is kept pressed by the cover (2) on the articles (14) and prevents any movement of these during transport of the box. Furthermore, to allow the cover (2) to be sealed or locked in the closed position on the body of the box (1) so as to avoid any risk of exchange of the articles (14), in particular after removal, the flange (7) of the box closure system comprises an orifice (11) which comes opposite with an orifice (12) advantageously provided on the cover (2) or personalized cardboard, when the box is in the closed position. Therefore it is easy to seal the box to guarantee its inviolability.

Furthermore it is advantageous to provide on one or both sides of the cover (2) inscriptions (13) to identify the sample taken or to indicate any information concerning this sample.

According to the preferred embodiment of the closure system, the cover (2) is made of cardboard, but it can also be made of any other material such as, for example, plastic, glass or the like, without thereby departing from the scope of the invention.

This box is composed of two raw materials instead of one, the gutter is made of hard plastic ensuring the rigidity of the box. The PVC gutter is injected instead of thermoformed. The gutter is completely different internally instead of being external which makes it less fragile to shocks and protects the cardboard. This rigid gutter reduces the deformability of the box. The superimposition of the red plastic of the gray PVC gives a look that the other completely uniform box of color does not have because of a single material which is a decisive argument in the choice for biologists. Because the appearance is much more be that the other.

The cells are deeper which gives better protection of the tubes.

The third flap of the gutter opposite to (7a) that is to say (7b) being fragile requires the use of the hole (11) to put the fixing clip there. This box having a full gutter on three sides avoids this type of problem and above all completely encloses the cardboard making it integral with the box while protecting it. This box is completely different from the German patented box under the number P 22 34808.9 because its zipper is outside the box and does not allow to adapt the boxes essential elements for our boxes absence of cell and absence of integrated rack. It is also different from ours because it is made of a single material the gutter is an integral part of the box for closing. This box is different from the American box patented under the number 4 340 140 because the closure system can only be produced in a single material ours using two different materials offers two advantages.

1) deformability and flexibility of the bottom of the boxes which protects the blood tubes.

2) rigidity at the level of the closure ensuring the protection of the cardboard, an essential element for analysis laboratories. Box suitable only for biology and meeting the criteria requested by biologists because it can contain several varieties of tubes possible.

For the American box the gutter is hollowed out in the material itself while our box is an assembly of two different plastics determining the gutter.

The raw material is also very important for the laboratories of analysis the plastic having the clear advantage of being washable therefore clean to be reused on the other hand the polystirene and certain other plastics cannot be suitable because soiled must be eliminated.

The presence of an intermediate cover which completely insulates the tubes and protects them also allows the prescription to be placed between the cover and the cardboard which protects it from any contamination which is impossible with the American box because the cover is in direct contact with the tubes which inevitably causes soiling. The opening (11) of the cover allows the cardboard (12) to be clipped if absolute security is to be obtained during transport so that the said cardboard does not fall, this being a major element of the box because it is used for the secretariat and personalize each laboratory. It would not be the same for a cover made of the same material as the box.

1) Box for sample for medical use characterized in that it comprises a box body (1), a bottom (4) optionally having cells (15) for the reception of objects (14) of the sample tube type and accessories for medical use, and a slide fastening system formed by a rigid plastic frame (7) provided with a gutter into which a closing element (2) serving as a cover is inserted, this frame having notches for facilitate the insertion and removal of the closure element (2) and welded to the body (1) of the box at (5). 2) Sampling box according to claim -1- in that it further comprises an intermediate cover forming against cover (3) forming waves of shape combined with those of the cells (15) at the bottom (4) to define between this last and against the cover (3) of housings of shape conjugated to the shape of the articulated (14) to be packaged and transported.

3) Sampling box according to claim -1- characterized in that the flange (7) of the closure system of the box comprises an orifice (11) which comes opposite an orifice (12) provided on the cover (2 ) to allow reception of a means for sealing or locking the cover (2) in the closed position on the body of the box (1).

4) Sampling box according to claim -1- characterized in that the closure element (2) is made of plastic, glass or the like or preferably of personalized cardboard receiving instructions specific to the laboratory, the sampling and the patient.

5) Sampling box according to claim -1- characterized in that it is made of flexible plastic material by molding having at the four lower corners of the cells (9) forming feet.
