En el presente documento se describen métodos para purificar un inhibidor de proteasa alfa1 derivado de cultivo celular recombinante y eliminar una especie coloreada que purifica conjuntamente con la proteína recA1PI. También se describen métodos para reducir el hierro en el inhibidor de proteasa alfa1 derivado de cultivo celular.
