Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para estimular el crecimiento de las plantas y/o mejorar la producción de biomasa y/o incrementar la fijación de carbono por la planta que comprende introducir en una célula de planta, tejido de planta o planta uno o más ácidos nucleicos, en el que la introducción del o de los ácidos nucleicos resulta, en el interior de los cloroplastos, en una expresión de novo de uno o más polipéptidos que tienen la actividad enzimática de una glicolato deshidrogenasa constituida por subunidades fusionada en la traducción de enzimas multi-subunidad de glicolato deshidrogenasa bacteriana.
