Abstract
Un método para montaje de un casquillo dentro de un miembro metálico que comprende proveer un miembro metálico que forma una abertura receptora de casquillo en el miembro metálico, estando la abertura definida por una porción de reborde anular que rodea la abertura. Un casquillo es luego forzado a través de la abertura en una dirección de impulsión de casquillo de manera tal que el casquillo se pone en contacto con dicha porción de reborde anular y deforma la porción de reborde anular en dicha dirección de impulsión del casquillo para formar una porción de reborde anular en el miembro metálico, que se proyecta en la dirección de impulsión y está en contacto con una superficie exterior del casquillo en una relación de ajuste por interferencia de manera de retener aseguradamente el casquillo dentro de la abertura.
