To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES MORGAN, of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a Design for a Monument, of' which the following is a specitca` tion:

Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
The design relates to a mon umentfor graves 5 and consists of base stones or steps, a middle diminishing section, and side-projecting top section, with plain tapering cap and side ridges.

The middle section B has a square lower part and a slightlytapering upper part, connected therewith by concave side moldings b. The top C is slightly enlarged by sideWise-projecting moldings d and a square portion,f, having a cup tapering from the sides to the center, and having ridges g, beveling oi from their center lines toward the front and rear sides ot' the top, as shown clearly in Fig. 2.
Having thus described my invention, l claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a monument, formed of a base of steps with intermediate tapering parts, of a middle section with slightly-diminishing upper part, and of a top with projecting side molding, tapering cap, and beveled side ridges, substantially as shown and described.
