Be it known that I, JOHN HAMER, a citizen of Great Britain1 residing in the county of Dutchess and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and originel Design for n Pattern to be printed on druggets, feite, or other fabrics used for carpeting, or to be inwlonght in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographie print accompanying this speoilieetion does give and convey to any one skiied in the nrt of earpetprinting a more definite and thorough description of the nature of my invention than it is in the power of language to convey, and it is sufficient to enable any one skiiied in the art of carpetprinting to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
