Be it known that I, J ()IIN HAMER, a citizen of Great Britain, residing in the county of Dutchess and State of New York, have in vented and produced a new and original Design fora Pattern to be Printed on Dru ggets, Felts, or other Fabrics used for Carpeting, or to be inwrought in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing a definite and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and

I is sufficient to enable. any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing to use my invention.

\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
