Be it known that 1, JOHN HAMER, a citizen of Great Britain, residing in the county of Dutchess and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Printed on Druggets, Felts, or other Fabrics used for Carpeting, or to be in- Wronght in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing a definite and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and

is sufficient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing to use my invention.

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, as adapted to be printed on druggets, felts, or other fabrics used for carpeting, or inwrought in the form similar to the photographic print accompanying this specification.
