Be it known that I, JOHN HAMER, a. citizen of Great Britain, residing in the count-y of Dutchess and Starte of New York, have invented and produced n. new and original Design for n Pnttern to be printed on Druggets, Felts, or other Fabrics used for Carpeting, or to be inwronght in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby dechire that the photographic print accompanying this 'speeitica tion does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing: a more denite and thorough description ofthe nature of my invention than it is in the power of language to convey, and it is sufiieient to enable anyone skilled in the art of carpet-printing to use my invention.

What I eleim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The configuration ofthe design hereunto annexed, when mede by being printed on drnggete, felts, or other fabrics nsefl for earpeting, or iuwrought in the form similar to the photographic print accompanying this specification.
