Be it known that I, JOHN HAMER, a citizen of Great Britain, (residing in the county of' Dutchess and State of New York,) have invented and produced a new and original Design for a. Pattern to be Printed 0u Druggets, Felts, or other Fabrics used for Carpeting, or to be inwrought in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby deci-are that the photographic print accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-printing a more definite and thorough description ofthe nature of my invention than it is in the power of language to convey, and it is suicient to enable any Witnesses:
