DESIGN FbR INKSTAND-SUPPORTS.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9,334, dated June 6, 1876; application filed May 22, 1876.

[Term of Patent 7 years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HERMANN J. MiiLLEn, of the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a Design for Inkstand-Supports, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying drawing, to which reference is made.

The base A is, at its central portion, formed with a re-entrant curve, a, and above this is a parallel rim, b. At the, trunk of the base is a panel, B, surmounted with stars and the representation of a shield, and at each side of this are the representations of foliage. Upon the base, at one side or end thereof, is the representation of a human figure, with one arm extended and holding aloft the figure of an eagle. At the opposite side of the base is situated the inkstand O, which may be surmounted by the figure of a dome or tower, c.

What I claim as my invention is- The design for an inkstand-snpport, comprising the base and the representation of a human figure holding aloft an eagle, the whole having the shape and configuration substantially as herein set forth.
