DESIGN FOR HEATlNG-STOVE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 8,906, dated January 18, 1876; application filed January 4, 1876. [Term of Patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, RODMAN BAGKUS, of the city and county of Albany and State of New York, have originated and designed a Pattern for Ornamentod Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being bad to the accompanying photographic illustration, making part of this specification.

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is made.

A represents the feet, ornamented as shown. B is the base-plate. consisting of the moldings, headings, and flat surfaces, the latter being ornamented as shown. (3 is the aslrpit section, and D the doors of the same, each being ornamented as shown. B is the lower ring, consisting of a bead, ornamented as shown. F is the fire-pot section, the front sections of which are plain surfaces, while the rear is ornamented as shown at a. G are the doors, fitted to said fire-pot section, and they are rectangular in form, each door being divided by a vertical bar into two rectangular sections, each surrounded by the ornamentation, 'as shown. H is the middle ring, consisting of a flat and headings, the fiat being ornamented as shown. I is the combustion-chamber, and J the doors, fitted thereto, each being ornamented as shown. K is the cap to the rear incased flues, and is ornamented as shown. L is the upper ring, composed of a flat and an ogee, with the ornamentation, as shown. N is the magazine-section, composed of panels, each of which is ornamented as shown. N is the top, composed of flats, coves, and ogees, and ornamented as shown. 0 is the conical cover, composed of similar flats, coves, and

ogees, and ornamented as shown. P is the urn, surmounting the cover, and its configuration and ornamentation are fully shown in the photographic illustration.

I do not desire to claim the particular configuration and outline of the plates composing this stove, as shown; but

What I do claim as my design and invention is 1. The design for the ornamentation of the legs A, as shown.

2. The design for the ornamentation of the base-section B, as shown.

3. The design for the ornamentation of the ash-pit section 0 and its doors D, as shown.

4.. The design for the ornamentation of the fire-pot section F and its doors G, as shown.

5. The design for the ornamentation of the com bastion-chamber section I and its doors J, as shown.
