DESIGN FOR SHOW-CASES.
Specification forming part of Design No. 8,814, dated November 30, 1875; application filed July 22, 1875. [Term of Patent 7 years.]
CASE B.
To all whom it may concern:-
Be it known that we, JOSEPH LEHNBEUTER and OASPAR OLAES, both of St. Louis, St. Louis county, State of Missouri, have originated a certain Design for Show-Gases, of which the following is a full, clear, and exactdescription, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, making part of this specification.
The nature of our design is fully represented in the accompanying drawing to which reference is made.
The case consists of three main parts-the lower one, A, of which extends the whole length of the case, and at each end of this part is an upwardly-extending portion or tur ret, shown at B and O.
The frame-bars throughout the case are shown at a, and said bars serve to support the glass panes forming the walls of the case. The base or bottom is shown at b, and the turret tops at 0; these parts b 0 may be made of some opaque material. The turrets B O I do not extend to the front wall of the case; but at front of the turrets is a bulging or convex sloping face, 0, extending from end to end of the ease and forming the front wall of the portion A. Between the turrets the part A has a horizontal top,f, for use in handling articles for sale. The tops of the turrets (J are made angular at the middle g, from front to back, and upon each side of the part 9 is a horizontal part, It. Any style of molding may he used at the base and tops.
\Vhat we claim as our invention is- The design for a show-case, consisting of lower part A, provided with outwardly-convex front 6, extending its whole length, turrets B O at each end and the central horizontal top f, between said turrets, substantially as shown and described.
