Be it known that I, EnitJ CuisaND, of' New Haven, in the countvot' New Haven and State ot' Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Enibroidelylattern 5 and l do hereb)v declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying' drawings and the let ters of reference marked thereon, to he a i'nll, clear, and exact description oi' the same, and which said drawings constitute part ot" this speciiication, and represent the design.
This invention relates to a design i'or emlnoidery-patterii intended especiallbr for prrforatcd board; and it consists in the peculiar contigui-ation and ornamentation of the motto, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
The motto forming;` the base of this design is Ile leadeth me."7 The form ot' the letters composing the several words is clearly shown in the accompanying' illustration, the capitals heine' the principal feature in this part ot' the design.
The ornamentalioii in this design consists of a tracervof Grecian key," and scroll-work interlaced with the motto, with a crook and lamb as emblems, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
