DESIGN FOR EMBROIDERY-PATTERNS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 8,320, dated May 11, 1875; application tiled Ma5 4, 1875. [Term of Patent 3% years] CASE To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that l, EMIL CRISAND, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State ofUonnecticut, have invented a new Design for Einbroidery-Pattern, C 0; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in eonnection with the accompanying drawings, to bea full, clear, and exactdescription of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification7 and represent a face View.
This invention relates to a design for embroiderypattern, with special reference to perforated card-hoard, the pattern to be printed upon the board, so as to give ageneral in-A dication for the form of the letters and ornainenting tracery.
The design consists in the configuration of the letters composing the motto and the ornamentation, as shown in the accompanying illustration, and hereinafter described.
The motto constituting the principal feature of this design is Sweet Home, with a bird and nest as an emblem.
The capitals and the nest and bird constitute the peculiar characteristic of this design.
The nest is represented as on a branch, which spreads and intertwines to form an ornamental tracery around the words, as seen in the accompanying illustration.
I claim- The design for embroidery-pattern herein described, consisting of the motto Sweet Heine, in form as shown in the accompanying illustration.
