DESiGN FOR AN EMBROIDERY-PATTERN.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,473, dated August 29, 1876; application filed August 14, 1876.

Be it known that I, EMIL. CRISAND, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Uonnecticut, have invented a new Design for Emlnoidery-Pattern; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent a face View.
This invention relates to adesign for embroidery-pattern, with special reference to perforated board, the object being to indicate upon the surface the stitches to be taken to produce the desired form or figure.
The invention consists in the pattern as shown in the accompanying illustration, and hereinafter described.
The foundation of this design is the motto Home, Sweet Home. The letters composing these words are arranged as shown, with a vine or branch of roses intertwined with the several words, ail as shown in the accompanying illustration.
The essential feature of the design is the peculiar form of the letters composing the words.
I claim- The hercindescrihed design for embroiderypattern, consisting of the motto Home, Sweet Home, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
