DESIGN FOR AN EMBROIDERY-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9,504, dated September 26, 1876; application filed September 15,1876.

[Term of Patent 3% years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, EMIL CRISAND, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a, new Design for Embroidery-Pattern; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, to be afull, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent a face View.

This invention relates to a design for emhroidery-pnttcrn, with special reference to perfornted board, the object being to indicate upon the surface of the board the stitches to be taken to produce the desired pattern; and it consists in the pattern shown in the accompanying illustration and hereinafter described.

The motto constituting the principal feature in this design is Scatter Smiles. Combined with the letters forming these words are detached or scattered flowers, forming an ornemental groundwork upon which the letters appear to lie, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.

I claim- The herein-described design for embroiderypnttern, consisting of scattered flowers and the motto Scatter Smiles, as shown in the accompnnying illustration.
