DESIGN FOR AN EMBROIDERY-PATTERN.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,265, dated May 2, 1876 application tiled April 2li, 1876. [Term of Patent 311 yeare To all 'whom it may concern Be it known that I, EMIL CRISLND, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have inventeda new Design for Embroidery-Pattern; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connec tion with the accompanying drawings, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specieation, and represent a face view.
This invention relates to a design for pattern for embrodering, with special reference to perforated boa-rd, the object being to indicate on the surface of the board the pattern to be wrought. It consists in a representa tion of fiowering lilies with the motte C011- sider the Lilies.
The principal feature in the design is a bouquet, or several branches representing lilies, and on the face of the pattern the words Consider the Lilies. These words may be arranged as shown, or otherwise, it only being essential to the design that these words, or words of the same meaning, be present.
